TV Review: Breaking In “Pilot”

Review by Matt Sernaker

FOX, the network that has brought us hit comedies like That 70’s Show, Malcolm in the Middle, and Married With Children, has a notorious track record when it comes to debuting and maintaining a new series. Many shows that premiere on the network are quickly axed right as things start to get interesting (I am still bitter about Undeclared), so it is hard for fans to get attached. This past week, FOX aired the pilot episode of their new show, Breaking In, which is being produced by Happy Madison Productions (Adam Sandler’s production company), and Sony Pictures Television.

Blu-ray Review: Firebreather

Cartoon Network has been very hit-or-miss when it comes to creating new animated franchises. Who can forget such classics as the ingenious Megas XLR or Samurai Jack, but who wants to remember such bombs as Squirrel Boy? Firebreather, Cartoon Network’s newest experiment, falls into the latter of the aforementioned groups. Primed to be a backdoor pilot for an ongoing series, and CN’s first full CGI film, Firebreather is a very interesting specimen, and it is now available on Blu-ray.

DVD Review: Doctor Who- The Seeds of Doom

Doctor Who: The Seeds of Doom is now available for you to own on DVD!

The long-running British Sci-fi tv series, Doctor Who, has had its ups and downs over the 60 plus years it has been running. But many Classic Who fans seem to agree that Tom Baker, who became the fourth Doctor after Jon Pertwee’s run, is considered the “Golden Age” of Doctor Who, bringing with it a number of timeless stories and memorable characters as well as the return of the popular third Doctor companion (who now stars in her own spinoff show), Sarah Jane Smith.
