Blu-Ray Review: Wrong Turn 2: Dead End Unrated
If Wrong Turn is a lesson in map reading, then Wrong Turn 2: Dead End is a lesson in planning. The second movie in the series has the cast and crew of a survival reality show, being shot in the brothers' forest, using their skills to fight for their lives. And the brothers have family.
Blu-Ray Review: Wrong Turn
You’re on your way to an important meeting, and the road is blocked by an accident with a truck carrying hazardous material. What do you do? Look for a different route, of course.
Blu-Ray Review: Child’s Play
There was Talking Tina, then the marionette in Poltergeist, and Fats the ventriloquist dummy, but no doll can wreck havoc like Chucky.
Blu-Ray Review: The Hannibal Lecter Collection
The Hannibal Lecter Collection assembles the first three appearances of Dr. Hannibal Lecter, Manhunter, The Silence of the Lambs, and Hannibal.
Blu-Ray Review: Misery
“I’m your number one fan” shouldn’t make you cringe in fear, but for romance novelist Paul Sheldon those five words send waves of terror down his spine. Misery, based on the Stephen King novel and named for Paul’s’ recurring character Misery Chastaine and not his state throughout the movie, is a study in fanaticism.
Blu-ray and DVD Review: X-Men Origins: Wolverine
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is now available for you to add to your collection on DVD and Blu-ray.
One of the most controversial releases of the Summer is now (legally) available for you to own! The film, by Director Gavin Hood, features Hugh Jackman in an early story about Wolverine, and explains how he came to eventually join the X-Men. So by now I'm sure you have a pretty good idea about the general story of this movie. Wolverine and his "brother" Sabertooth (Liev Schreiber replacing Tyler Mane in the iconic role) go off on their own and eventually join up with a program called Weapon X, led by X2 Villain William Stryker (now played by Danny Huston).
Anime Blu-ray Review: Burst Angel, The Complete Series
Three hot teenage women and a young girl are mercenaries who recruit a weak boy to cook for them. They are built to kill and also have one of the most bad-ass Mechs around. Ban Lie is the organization they work for and they have all kinds of wild times killing crazy human monsters or other Mechs controlled by shiny, glowing monster brains. What is really going on? I don't know, but it looks great on Blu-ray.

Blu-ray Review: Army of Darkness: Screwhead Edition
"Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This… is my boomstick!"
The first time I was introduced to the Evil Dead series of movies was when I was ten years old. I was visiting my friend Tony and he wanted to watch some movie called Army of Darkness, which to me, being ten, sounded amazing. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, but I quickly learned that this would also make my top ten list for movies and 15 years later it is still in my top ten. Now this cult classic from Director Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Spider-Man) just got even better as Army of Darkness: Screwhead Edition is now available for the first time ever in high definition on Blu-ray!
Blu-ray Review: Shaun of the Dead
The cult classic comedy Shaun of the Dead is now available for you to own on Blu-ray! Starring Star Trek's Simon Pegg and written by Edgar Wright, this film is a great parody of the zombie and horror genre.

Blu-ray Review: The Office Season 5
The Complete Fifth Season of the Office is now available on Blu-ray!
Michael, Dwight, Jim, Angela, Pam and the rest of the gang are back for more crazy office antics. Following the shocking cliffhanger of last season, things get a bit more tricky as the love triangle between Angela, Dwight, and Andy gets much more interesting. Michael and Holly are also building a new relationship until things hit a surprising snag. Jim and Pam are dealing with the problems of a long distance relationship while Pam attends art school in New York. Oh, and with the arrival of Charles Minor as the new Vice President of Dunder Mifflin, Michael decides to quit and start his own paper company with the help of Pam and Ryan! Needless to say, things are definitely hectic around the office.
Blu-ray Review: Supernatural: The Complete Fourth Season
Supernatural originally debuted as part of 2005's fall season, and followed its Thursday partner Smallville from the WB over to the CW, until this year when Smallville when Clark ditches his younger brothers Sam and Dean and moves to Fridays. No review material available on the latest Smallville Blu-rays unfortunately, so no review on the website, but our podcast listeners know we talk about the show often there.
Blu-ray Review: State of Play
"[I like holding the audience just at that point] where confusion and intrigue… coexist"– director Kevin Macdonald, from the commentary
State of Play is the new release from Universal by the director of The Last King of Scotland and the writer of Lions for Lambs. The movie dances just a little too close to the abovementioned line and made barely a ripple when it was released in theaters in April ($35 million domestically) but it is a worthy effort with an A-list cast that is a must-see for political junkies.
