TV News: NBC Orders Full-Season Pickup for Chuck!

Good news fellow Chuck Fans! Chuck has been given an additional 11 episodes for Season 4! Check out the press release below:

 

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – October 19, 2010 – NBC has given full-season pickups to the new high-octane drama "Chase" and the returning action-comedy "Chuck" for 2010-11. The announcement was made by Angela Bromstad, President, Primetime Entertainment, NBC and Universal Media Studios.

TV News: Life Unexpected “Music Faced” (One Tree Hill crossover)



Life Unexpected
is the story of 15 year old Lux (Brittany Robertson) who finds her biological parents in her search for emancipation after years of foster care living. Cate Cassidy (Shiri Appleby, Roswell) is her biological mother that gave her up for adoption when she was in high school. Cate is a radio personality with her boyfriend Ryan Thomas (Kerr Smith, Dawson’s Creek) in the city of Portland. While Nate Bazile (Kristoffer Polaha, Mad Men) is the father who never knew Lux existed. He lives above his bar, and has barely had contact with Cate over the years. Lux losses her bid for emancipation, and custody is granted to Cate and Nate.

NYCC 2010: DC Comics Drops Prices for Ongoing Titles

New York, October 7, 2010– Beginning January 2011, DC Comics will implement a line-wide pricing adjustment, lowering the prices of all standard length 32-page ongoing comic book titles currently priced at $3.99 to $2.99, it was announced today by DC Comics Co-Publishers Jim Lee and Dan DiDio.

“Today’s announcement re-affirms DC Comics’ commitment to both our core fans and to comic book store retailers,” said Jim Lee, DC Comics Co-Publisher. “For the long term health of the industry, we are willing to take a financial risk so that readers who love our medium do not abandon the art form.”

On October 18th, Masi Oka will guest star on the new hit series Hawaii Five-O.  Many will recognize Oka as Hiro Nakamura, the regular part he played on the hit show Heroes, as well as from his film work and guest appearances in shows like Without a Trace, Still Standing, Yes, Dear, Scrubs, Joey, Reba, The Loop, All of Us, Will & Grace and The Gilmore Girls.
