Hello, fair readers! Allow me to present a small collection of photos of what I call the Gentlemen of WonderCon 2011, a group with members from across the galaxy, time, and gender divide!

We may never know the real reason that they rose from their graves.

“The government created a virus,” one man claimes. But the woman disagrees. “It was a spore from space,” she says. “Radioactivity,” the scientist decrees as he keeps night watch around their encampement. “Armageddon. Plain and simple,” says the old man with yellowing teeth, cradling his shotgun. 

Whatever the reason, the dead walked among us last weekend. There can be no denying it, for we have photographic proof. 

WonderCon 2011: The Littlest Super Heroes

When an adult dons a costume to attend an event such as WonderCon, they are fully aware that they will be photographed. Anticipating the onslaught of potentially unflattering photos that will appear online, the costumed folks often prepare with a series of planned poses to use when someone like me asks to take their picture. This results in countless photos of out-of-place action poses framed by sweaty con-goers holding shopping bags.

WonderCon 2011: Green Lantern Comics Panel

Here are some of the highlights from the Green Lantern Comics Panel at WonderCon 2011:

-Reveal of the White Lantern is next week in issue #23.

-*Joking?* Atrocious will have a Valentines day special at some point in the future (and Dexstar will fight with Krypto.)

-The embodiments of the cores are holed up in the Guardians right now, and will be for the near future.

Convention News: ComicsOnline at MegaCon

ComicsOnline continues to increase it’s coverage of conventions every year and for the first time ever we will be covering MegaCon the Southeast’s largest Comic Convention. Coverage will begin Friday 3/25 and continue through Sunday 3/27.

First image of Adrianne Palicki starring as the title character in the new NBC pilot “Wonder Woman,” from executive producer David E. Kelley (“Boston Legal,” “Ally McBeal,” NBC’s “Harry’s Law”). The pilot was written by Kelley, who also serves as executive producer with Bill D’Elia (“Boston Legal,” “The Practice,” NBC’s “Harry’s Law”). Jeffrey Reiner (“The Event”) is directing. Based upon DC Comics characters, “Wonder Woman” is from David E. Kelley Productions and Warner Bros.
