Movie Review: Kick-Ass
Over the last few years, film-goers have had a massive exposure to comic-book culture. The average viewer has become more open-minded when it comes to seeing the next comic related release. The next character to make the leap to the big screen is Mark Miller's Kick-Ass and ComicsOnline was invited to a private screening of this upcoming release in San Diego. It is easily one of the most over the top, violent, profane and exhilarating comic-book movies ever. This is no Dark Knight and it sure isn't Iron-Man. Kick-Ass is something entirely new and different…and could easily be one of the best movies of the year!
Now you might be asking yourself, who is Kick-Ass and why should I go see a movie about him?

TV Review: Chuck Season Three (Episodes 1-5)
The fans have spoken and Chuck, one of the best shows on television, has made its return to NBC for Season Three!
Thanks to an amazing fan campaign and the decline of people who actually care about Heroes, NBC realized the importance of this little spy show and has truly given it a chance to shine. Chuck advertisements have been all over the place and these days, marketing is everything. When I arrived home last week I found a Fedex box from NBC Universal with the Chuck Press Kit, containing the first five episodes of Season Three, a secret spy kit, digital voice changer, and super secret spy glasses! The episodes alone would have been cool enough, but I do love my spy kit.
Blu-ray Review: Battlestar Galactica- Season One
The Cylons are coming! The Cylons are coming! They're here.
Battlestar Galactica: Season One has made its way to Blu-ray, and it is
truly glorious. This is a show that was meant to be watched in high
definition. It is amazing how different the episodes look compared to DVD. I need to start out by mentioning that I do indeed own all of BSG on DVD. It was a series that I felt needed to have in my collection and I wanted to relive it before the final season aired. Now that this Blu-ray set is in my hands, I have the desire to own it all on Blu-ray.
Blu-ray Review: Family Guy- Something, Something, Something, Darkside
Family Guy returns to the Star Wars universe in their newest Direct to DVD/Blu-ray release: Family Guy- Something, Something, Something, Darkside. This latest installment parodies the events of Star Wars – Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, featuring Chris as Luke, Peter as Han, Lois as Leia, Stewie as Darth Vader and The Giant Chicken as Boba Fett. The rest of the Family Guy gang is around too making surprise apperances as other classic Star Wars characters. The jokes are nerdy as hell and any fan of Star Wars will love this new adventure!

Blu-ray Review: Battlestar Galactica: The Plan
The Cylons were created by Man.
They rebelled.
There are many copies.
And they have…A PLAN.
These words scrolled across our television screens throughout the run of the series Battlestar Galactica. Now, following the amazing ending of the series, the team behind the show has released a new Direct to DVD (and Blu-ray) movie entitled The Plan. This film, directed by series star Edward James Olmos, was intended to show the Cylon's point of view during the destruction of the colonies and provide new insight into the series. Unfortunately for us fans, The Plan feels more like a glorified clip show with very little revelation than the show that we have seen thrive and encapsulate our attention for years.
