Blu-ray Review: Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics

There must always be a balance in the universe. Wherever there is evil, there will always be good. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment put this premise to the test with the release of their new documentary: Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics.

After months of waiting, The Walking Dead finally returns for Season Four! With the threat of The Governor on the back burner, Rick and the gang are focused on trying to do more than just survive in their post-apocalyptic world. TV Review: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. – “Pilot”

After months of waiting and rampant speculation, viewers will finally be treated to the first installment of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which debuts 8/7c Tuesday, September 24th on ABC!

Movie Review: Kick-Ass 2

Kick-Ass is back for more action, adventure, and off the wall violence in Kick-Ass 2, hitting theaters this week!

Kick-Ass 2 wastes no time picking up right where the first installment left off.  Not only does the first scene with Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson – Avengers: Age of Ultron) and Hit Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz – Let Me In) parallel the original introduction to Big Daddy and Hit Girl from the first movie but we also don’t have to wait long to see the progression of Kick-Ass and Hit Girl in high school as Dave Lizewski and Mindy Macready, respectively.

Movie Review: Elysium

In the future, things aren’t going well for the people of Earth. Over population is rampant, while healthcare and quality of life are at an all time low. With things taking a turn for the worse, mankind’s elite have decided to abandon life on Earth, and now live in a giant space station called Elysium. This floating paradise in the sky can only be accessed by “citizens” (aka the wealthy), while the working class remains down below on the dying planet. Only one man can make a difference and restore balance to this dystopian future, and that one man is…Matt Damon? Matt Damon (The Bourne Trilogy) stars in the new futuristic tale Elysium, from Director Neill Blomkamp (District 9).
