DVD Review: Nabari, The Complete Series: Part One

Long ago the great Ninja tribes worked together to create a scroll with all their wisdom and power, the Shinra Banshou. They discovered that it was too dangerous, sealed it in a single person, and killed them. 10 years later it reappeared in another human. It has proved to be too much for any one to handle and the person who is endowed with the knowledge and power dies instantly, as soon as they release it within themselves. Now Miharu has become the next bearer of this burden. Miharu is so apathetic that he makes slackers look good.

Ghost Hunt: The Complete Series

Blu-ray Review: Supernatural: The Complete Fourth Season

Supernatural
originally debuted as part of 2005's fall season, and followed its Thursday partner Smallville from the WB over to the CW, until this year when Smallville when Clark ditches his younger brothers Sam and Dean and moves to Fridays. No review material available on the latest Smallville Blu-rays unfortunately, so no review on the website, but our podcast listeners know we talk about the show often there.

DVD Review: Magikano: The Complete Series

This show from 2006 can best be described in two words: Fan Service. Lots and lots of fan service. With a dash of plot. The show revolves around the Yoshikawa family (Haruo, Maika, Chiaka, and Fuyuno) and a witch named Ayumi Maniya, who is tasked with lifting a curse that had been put upon her by “making a man” out of Haruo and arousing his latent powers. This show is definitely not for children.
