Damaged debuts next week
Radical Publishing and Full Clip Productions have a new book called Damaged hitting shelves next Wednesday, 8/17. It’s a crime drama following the paths of two brothers on opposite sides of the law, joining them just as they approach retirement and are attempting to pass their training and values onto younger proteges.
The book is written by Eisner Award-winner David Lapham (Stray Bullets), drawn by Leonardo Manco, created by Michael and John Schwarz, and will be executive produced by Sam Worthington (Avatar).

A few impressions from SDCC 2011
It has come and gone so fast – San Diego Comic Con 2011 – and once again it was a blast!
Without further ado, here are some of my personal favorite moments:
Wednesday (Preview night) I had to geek out on anything Battlestar Galactica, of course..
Nice little ‘Viper’ model!
Thursday I attended the only panel that had anything to do with Battlestar Galactica, “So Say we all”, hosted by Richard Hatch. It also had Michael Taylor and Dr Kevin Grazier (BG science consultant) in attendance. A surprise guest was actress Lili Bordan from the upcoming ‘Blood and Chrome’ pilot.
TV Review: ThunderCats “The Sword of Omens” and “Ancient Spirits of Evil” (SERIES PREMIERE)
by Kroze Kresky, Media Editor
“Thunder… Thunder…. Thunder… THUNDERCATS HO!”
Back in the 80’s, that phrase was heard in living rooms all over the US and kids tuned in every week to watch the continuing adventures of a band of humanoid cats from space as they fought the evil of Mumm-Ra and searched out a new home for themsleves to win over the hearts of children everywhere! Fast forward 30 years later and it looks like the cycle is set to repeat itself once again as ThunderCats returns to TV in a huge way!
Blu-ray Review: Doctor Who Series 6, Part 1
Movie Review: Cowboys & Aliens
by Kroze Kresky, Media Editor
As a little kid playing with your action figures, I am sure you had such epic mystical bouts between two unlikely factions… Ninjas vs. the WWF (What is with this WWE bullshit nowadays?), Power Rangers vs. Gobots, Dinosaurs vs. your sister’s barbie dolls which you did totally not borrow to film a complete version of the plot to Dragon Warrior IV with and then had the VHS tape completely fuck up so it was all for naught… but one of the most famous combination that many kids growing up (including yours truly) was putting all your alien monsters against your cowboy figures riding around on horses. It seemed that Hollywood had tapped into their inner child recently for inspiration for their newest hot summer action blockbuster feature film, but they left the most important ingredient back buried in their toybox…
