A new adventure is about to begin with the upcoming release of Lost Fantasy #1! FOC is next Monday (the book hits comic stores on April 30th), and our friends at Image were kind enough to give us an early look at the new title.

Official Synopsis:
There is a world of magic, myth, and monsters that exists beneath the surface of our own. Since first contact was made over 100 years ago, The Great Hunters have kept us safe from the creatures that lurk in the shadows. But last night something broke through, and it’s up to rookie monster hunter Henry Blackheart to stop it…
A fresh take on fantasy from creators CURT PIRES (Indigo Children) and LUCA CASALANGUIDA (James Bond)! East Of West meets Something is Killing the Children in this new ongoing series. Plus: The INDIGO CHILDREN return in INDIGO CHILDREN: EXODUS! A brand-new story serialized ONLY in the pages of LOST FANTASY!

I’ll admit, I’m a sucker for stories that creatively blend real-world historical elements with fantasy. Magic and mystery are secretly a part of our history in Lost Fantasy, and the world-building feels incredibly unique. Its story and various design elements include undertones reminiscent of Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda (a winning combination), and the cliffhanger ending will leave you clamoring for more. The character designs and settings feel fantastic yet grounded, and the engaging visualization of magic in the book will surely grab your attention.
As if the main story wasn’t enough to catch my attention, Lost Fantasy also includes a bonus ongoing story called INDIGO CHILDREN: EXODUS. Although I haven’t had any previous experience with Indigo Children, I’m interested to learn more after reading this new chapter.
