The Devil is in the details, and details are what we get in The Lucky Devils #2!
In the last issue, we met a whole new cast of characters and discovered that devils are real! They have jobs and relationships, just like us regular folk, but their main goal is to make humans powerful via corruption using the Seven Deadly Sins. It was also revealed that our devilish duo, Collar and Rake, have taken the age-old motto to heart: “If you’re not cheating, you’re not trying!”

Official Synopsis:
We’ve descended to the Second Circle, where, according to Dante, they kept sinners consumed by lust. Will our punk-rock anarchist devils Collar and Rake keep that in mind as they work to transform two ordinary, good-hearted humans into the most powerful people on Earth? Well, they wouldn’t be devils if they weren’t at least a little horny. Temptation, thrills, terror, titillation—THE LUCKY DEVILS #2 has it all!

Issue #2 of The Lucky Devils picks up right where we left off and does not fail to impress. Charles Soule continues to blow our minds with his world-building craft, expanding on the lore and defining some basic principles of how Hell works. The detailed imagery that Ryan Browne provides really brings the characters we’re starting to know to life with a dash of comedic relief in the details. As I got to the end of this issue, I only had one thought in my head: “What, it’s over already? I want more!”
