What happens when you take Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Game of Thrones, John Carter of Mars, and Fern Gully and put them all together? You’re about to find out when you pick up the first chapter of Bug Wars, hitting comic stores this week! Without going into spoilers, the scale of this book is particularly impressive. The opening pages provide the readers with so much context and world-building, allowing the story to move at an engaging pace. The visuals feel familiar yet alien, providing readers with a brave new world to explore through the lens of our young protagonist. Also, be warned fair reader: there are some graphic shots in the book (not over the top, just in the vein of Invincible of The Walking Dead). What secrets await our bug-loving hero? You are going to need to grab your copy and find out for yourself.

Bug Wars is emotional, thrilling, and full of surprises. This book is going to top the charts in 2025.

(Managing Editor/Director of Media Relations) Matt interviewed MacGyver once (true story), and was invited on a submarine to the Arctic. It hasn't happened yet, but Matt hopes that some day he will get the call and he and Richard Dean Anderson will go off and have a wacky adventure.
