In which George has to clarify

George Critter!

George is one of the very, very first critters I drew in middle school. He is all the insecurity, anxiety, and paranoia a middle-school version of me could manifest! Huggy the Teddy Bear is based on my childhood Winnie the Pooh, which is still one of my treasured possessions. My parents called me “Huggy Bear” from the Starsky and Hutch television show. In the comics, Huggy’s superhero name will be revealed in an upcoming strip!

The Original Version of This Joke

I posted this one on ComicsOnline, Instagram, and Twitter on December 24, 2021. The circle format is due to experimenting with panels, like the previous comic strip.

Dakota’s Critter Coloring

Thank you Dakota for the Critter Coloring!

Critter merchandise is for sale on Redbubble. Look for the JoeIconic store. All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity! Critter fans send Critter Sightings from Amsterdam to Charleston to London to Alaska. I post Critter Sightings on social media on the weekends.

This “Director’s Cut” of the cartoons is exclusively on ComicsOnline.com! Come back to ComicsOnline for Critters, Comic Book Reviews, and Everything Geek Pop Culture!

Joe is a husband, #girldad, and Orphan of Apollo. He has drawn critters since riding the bus in 5th grade, and they have appeared on notes to loved ones, graffiti in a Latin classroom (sorry Rev. Dr Clark!), training slides for work, a newsletter in Alaska, and notes to his wife Tracy, who encouraged him to share them with the world. Contains pop culture references, stuff from the news, but mostly bad dad jokes.
