Something Shiny Would Have Gotten Spike, Too.

Spike and Norville in an Internet Outage!

I love writing jokes for these guys. Spike and Norville debuted on Caroline’s notes for lunch in Elementary School. That version of Spike had an intense grin! He told the most awful knock-knock jokes I could find on the web. Caroline also chose how their colors, which I should have done with so many of the other critters. She also designed Whirly Dirly!

The Original Version of This Joke

I posted this one on ComicsOnline, Instagram, and Twitter on December 22, 2021. Note the playing with panels. This format does not apply easily to the reels/TikTok videos frame by frame. An alternate version for the panel comics is an option, but takes more time in production!

Brianna’s Critter Coloring

Thank you Brianna for the Critter Coloring!

Critter merchandise is for sale on Redbubble. Look for the JoeIconic store. All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity! Critter fans send Critter Sightings from Amsterdam to Charleston to London to Alaska. I post Critter Sightings on social media on the weekends.

This “Director’s Cut” of the cartoons is exclusively on ComicsOnline.com! Come back to ComicsOnline for Critters, Comic Book Reviews, and Everything Geek Pop Culture!

Joe is a husband, #girldad, and Orphan of Apollo. He has drawn critters since riding the bus in 5th grade, and they have appeared on notes to loved ones, graffiti in a Latin classroom (sorry Rev. Dr Clark!), training slides for work, a newsletter in Alaska, and notes to his wife Tracy, who encouraged him to share them with the world. Contains pop culture references, stuff from the news, but mostly bad dad jokes.
