Get your willpower ready, because DC is about to go ALL IN for a brand-new era of Green Lantern! The new epic adventure starts this week with the release of Green Lantern: Fractured Spectrum #1. Now that our favorite Lanterns have reclaimed OA and stopped the threat of Thaaros, their attention must turn to the damage that was done to the Emotional Spectrum. What exactly are Fractal Lanterns, and what ominous new threat is lurking in the cosmos? We don’t know for sure, but Hal and the gang need to get ready because Sorrow has set his sights on the Book of OA…

With the Civil Corps saga wrapped up, it’s time for the Green Lanterns to go home. The Central Power Battery has been restored to OA, the Guardians have returned, and the Green Lanterns are once again a positive force for good in the universe. This might sound like a return to an old status quo for the GLC, but that is anything but the case. The new Guardians of the Universe have taken an advisory role in the new GL structure, and Jessica Cruz is rallying the troops to kick-start the new iteration of the Corps. Just when all seems like it was going according to plan, Sorrow makes his presence known on OA as he seeks a copy of the Book of OA for his own mysterious purposes. A new leap in GL mythology is shared with readers as the purpose of the Book and its secrets is about to be revealed thanks to…Guy Gardner?! Oh, and if Sorrow is able to achieve his plans, it will fracture the universe forever. The adventures continue in Green Lantern #19 AND Green Lantern Corps #1.

Since the Dawn of DC started, Green Lantern has continued to be one of their most consistently entertaining series. Jeremy Adams has continued to deliver each month, providing readers with bold new stories within the GL Universe. Xermanico’s art has been the standout for the GL books, but V Ken Marion’s artistic approach works nicely for this special as he perfectly captures the mannerisms of the various Lanterns in style.

Green Lantern: Fractured Spectrum #1 sets the stage for their next epic story, and this feels on-par with the setup for Blackest Night. With two concurrent GL books hitting stands for DC’s ALL IN, all of our favorite Lanterns are getting more time in the spotlight. I’m truly excited for the Green Lantern Corps ongoing, and it is great to see the gang back together for a big new series. 

2025 is going to be a big year for the world of Green Lantern, and this creative team has demonstrated that they’ve got the willpower to pull it off.
