Advance Review: X-Men #1 (From the Ashes Launch)

Since 1963, the adventures of the marvelous mutants known as the Uncanny X-Men have amazed readers of all ages. Their decades of adventures have taken us far from Charles Xavier’s mansion as our heroes continued to explore the Marvel Universe and find their way in a world that feared and hated them. With each new evolution of the comics came a new sense of hope and wonder, and the recent Krakoan Age managed to provide a completely out-of-the-box take on these characters and give them something new to fight for. As the baton passes once again to new editorial leadership, the time has come for the X-Men to start over with the launch of the new “From the Ashes” era. All this leads us to today’s highly anticipated launch of X-Men #1 from Marvel Comics.

Advance Review: Star Trek: Prodigy – Season 2 (SPOILER-FREE)

I don’t know about you, but I have been waiting for this day for a long time. After an untimely cancellation on Paramount+, it seemed that we had seen the last of the intrepid crew of the U.S.S. Protostar. Thanks to a massive fan campaign and some help from our friends at Netflix, this incredible series has finally come home for an astonishing second season. That’s right everyone: it’s finally time to embark on a 20-episode adventure with Star Trek: Prodigy – Season 2! It is extremely rare that a second season of a television series surpasses the first, but Star Trek: Prodigy has managed to do this (and so much more).

After the harrowing events of the previous issues, one can only wonder what the future is going to look like once the dust settles from “The Final Trial”.
