It’s time to get back to action, because Power Rangers Prime #2 from Boom! Studios is now available. This bold new title puts an interesting twist on the Power Rangers Universe, and now is the perfect time to join the fun. In a world where Power Rangers are outlawed, who will save us when evil returns? I can’t believe that I actually get to type this…but THE VR TROOPERS ARE BACK!?!

It might be set in a different universe, but there can be zero doubt that this is a Power Rangers book. Power Rangers Prime #2 expertly balances the action with world-building to create a satisfying second chapter. The creative team continues to expand on this new world while strategically grounding it with familiar concepts and characters. Incorporating the VR Troopers into the narrative adds even more energy to this book, as readers are about to get a face-off that we’ve wanted for decades. 

Power Rangers Prime continues to put a fresh new spin on the characters and concepts that we know and love. We’re just two issues in, and there is no question that I will be sticking around for this new adventure.
