George Critter in the Anxiety Box!

The Anxiety Box

The Anxiety Box is one of my first additions to the comic strip when I was still doodling on sticky pads, and putting in my wife’s lunch. Dealing with anxiety is an ongoing theme for this comic strip. I share my personal experiences in hopes it resonates with kindred spirits.

One of the Original Anxiety Box Cartoons

I think this was circa 2019, before I started posting my comics online.

Critter Sighting at the North Pole!

This Critter Sighting can be found at Santa’s House in North Pole, Alaska! We took a stroll down memory lane in Alaska with our daughter. Caroline’s last time there was when she was in Kindergarten, so it felt right during her winter break of her Senior year to go back and visit. I did not realize how much I missed Alaska!

This design and many others are for sale on Redbubble. Look for the JoeIconic store. All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity! Critter fans send Critter Sightings from Amsterdam to Charleston to Vienna to the North Pole (Alaska, that is!)  I post Critter Sightings on social media on the weekends.

This “Director’s Cut” of the cartoons is exclusively on ComicsOnline.com! Come back to ComicsOnline for Critters, Comic Book Reviews, and Everything Geek Pop Culture!

Joe is a husband, #girldad, and Orphan of Apollo. He has drawn critters since riding the bus in 5th grade, and they have appeared on notes to loved ones, graffiti in a Latin classroom (sorry Rev. Dr Clark!), training slides for work, a newsletter in Alaska, and notes to his wife Tracy, who encouraged him to share them with the world. Contains pop culture references, stuff from the news, but mostly bad dad jokes.
