The Pre-Workout Cartoon

Pre-Workout Drinks!

I actually use a pre-workout before I go to the gym, but you can definitely over-do a good thing. Moderation, moderation, moderation! “Buzz” is a parody of Bang, Red Bull, Slurm, or any of the other highly caffeinated drinks that are a bad day away from the Food & Drugs Administration banning. Since I follow up my pre-workout with a coffee named “Death’s Wish,” this may be ironic.

Harry Critter

I invited Harry at Palmetto Boy’s State at the Citadel (in 1986!) as Fred Cool’s roommate. He is supposed to be the cool surfer guy, which is why he says “dude” as many times as I can fit it in. Harry is the owner of the gym. In the old pencil and ink version of this comic strip, he gave the boys a job at the gym because they could not pay their gym dues.

The OG

ComicsOnline posted this version on June 6, 2020. This comic strip was the conclusion of a Spike and Norville story. Feel free to read it in the archives of ComicsOnline! Did I mention ComicsOnline is celebrating its 25th anniversary? I am so honored to be the #1 comicstrip posted on ComicsOnline.

Critter Coloring

Critter Coloring!

This Critter Coloring is a new Coloring Page, and available on merchandise on Redbubble. The stickers are very popular! I love that the artist went with Minion coloring. Thank you Jonathan, Rosy, and Vitorino for all the seven Critter Colorings! You really made my day! I hope you enjoyed the handful of Critter Stickers!

You, too, could join the #crittertribe! Follow on Instagram (@joe.iconic) or TikTok (@notesfortracy) for more critters! For Critter Stickers and Gear, go to Redbubble and look for the JoeIconic store. All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and other sharable promotional swag, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity! Critter fans send Critter Sightings from Amsterdam to Charleston to Critter Colorings!  Critter Sightings are usually posted on social media on the weekends.

This “Director’s Cut” of the cartoons is exclusively on ComicsOnline.com! Come back to ComicsOnline for Critters, Comic Book Reviews, and Everything Geek Pop Culture!

Joe is a husband, #girldad, and Orphan of Apollo. He has drawn critters since riding the bus in 5th grade, and they have appeared on notes to loved ones, graffiti in a Latin classroom (sorry Rev. Dr Clark!), training slides for work, a newsletter in Alaska, and notes to his wife Tracy, who encouraged him to share them with the world. Contains pop culture references, stuff from the news, but mostly bad dad jokes.
