The Burden of Being Krampus

Krampus!

Supernatural Punishment Has Its Fans

My family loves the concept of Krampus. Mainly because we love the horror genre. My daughter is our expert on what new horror movies are good and which are a waste of time. My wife’s favorite Columbia Museum of Art exhibit of all time was when Kirk Hammett’s travelling collection of horror movie posters and props came to town. If you get a chance to see it and like that sort of thing, five out of five stars, and maybe throw in a comet or two for brilliance. We were fortunate enough to hear Kirk Hammett speak passionately about his collection, too.

The OG

ComicsOnline.com posted the original ink and pencil colored version of this comic on April 25, 2022. I included a different final panel, that I probably should update and add to my growing number of available critters to put on T-shirts, stickers, hats, pillows, posters, and much more on Redbubble.com.

Find the Critter Sticker!

Seen at my mechanic’s shop! It’s fitting that the one critter sticker the owner wanted was “Ugga Dugga.”

You, too, could join the #crittertribe! Follow on Instagram (@joe.iconic) or TikTok (@notesfortracy) for more critters! For Critter Stickers and Gear, go to Redbubble and look for the JoeIconic store. Featured merchandise above! All proceeds go to buying more stickers, temporary tattoos, and other sharable promotional swag, and make coloring pages for the children who come through our local crisis charity. Also, fans take the stickers and send in pictures of Critter Sightings from London to Amsterdam to Rome and even the place that rotates my tires in Lexington, South Carolina! Critter Sightings are usually posted on social media on the weekends.

This “Director’s Cut” of the cartoons is exclusively on ComicsOnline.com! Come back to ComicsOnline for Critters, Comic Book Reviews, and Everything Geek Pop Culture!

Joe is a husband, #girldad, and Orphan of Apollo. He has drawn critters since riding the bus in 5th grade, and they have appeared on notes to loved ones, graffiti in a Latin classroom (sorry Rev. Dr Clark!), training slides for work, a newsletter in Alaska, and notes to his wife Tracy, who encouraged him to share them with the world. Contains pop culture references, stuff from the news, but mostly bad dad jokes.
