SDCC 2024: IMDb Presents First-Ever “Fan Favorite Ensemble” STARmeter Award to ‘Borderlands’ Cast and Creators

IMDb, the world’s most popular and authoritative source for information on movies, TV shows, and celebrity content, presented the first-ever “Fan Favorite Ensemble” STARmeter Award to the cast of Borderlands, including Jamie Lee CurtisKevin HartÉdgar RamírezFlorian MunteanuBobby LeeBenjamin Byron DavisJanina GavankarClaptrap, and Eli Roth. The award was created to celebrate both actors and filmmakers, and joins the ongoing IMDb “Fan Favorite”, “Icon”,  and “Breakout” IMDb STARmeter Awards categories to highlight the actors and creators who are most popular with the more than 250 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide. 

For the first-time ever, IMDb presented a “Fan Favorite” award to an ensemble, celebrating the cast and director of the highly anticipated film, Borderlands. IMDb STARmeter Awards recognize the most popular stars on the IMDbPro STARmeter chart, which is determined by the actual page views of the more than 250 million fans and professionals who visit IMDb each month. Currently ranked 47 on the IMDbPro MOVIEmeter chart, the title continues to trend as one of IMDb’s Most Anticipated movies of the year and the cast frequently ranks among the top on the IMDbPro STARmeter chart.
