by Matt Sernaker, Editor-In-Chief

ComicsOnline continues our onsite coverage from San Diego Comic-Con 2024!

Friday was a big day for our friends at IMDb, as the IMDboat featured special appearances from Erin MoriartyKarl UrbanJack QuaidCailee SpaenyChace CrawfordMelissa BarreraNorman ReedusBella ThorneTom KennyDaveed DiggsKevin Hart, and more.

The 2024 event featured the return of the IMDboat, our favorite offsite experience. This year, the IMDb team put together a special mix of offerings including the DiGiorno Relax and Recharge Lounge (featuring limited-edition DEADPOOL & WOLVERINE inspired pizzas), the Disney Lorcana TCG Showcase, and a special The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Prime Video photo booth.

Thanks to our friends at IMDb and Getty photographers Vivien BestMat Hayward, and Michael Kovac, we are pleased to share another round of amazing photos from Friday’s adventures.

The evening also featured the “FROM-ily Gathering”, celebrating the cast and filmmakers. Special guests included Harold Perrineau, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Eion Bailey, Elizabeth Saunders, David Alpay, Executive Producers Jeff Pinkner and John Griffin. Our ComicsOnline also got to join for this special evening event, and got some time with the cast and crew.

(Managing Editor/Director of Media Relations) Matt interviewed MacGyver once (true story), and was invited on a submarine to the Arctic. It hasn't happened yet, but Matt hopes that some day he will get the call and he and Richard Dean Anderson will go off and have a wacky adventure.
