Where have all the heroes gone?

The wonderful thing about going back to older comics is the chance to develop them more! I recycled this series of cartoons from earlier attempts at making fun of those “Ghost Adventurers” shows. My daughter watched all 26 seasons. After the first few episodes, the tropes really jump out at you. I added this comic strip to give our ghost a reasonable exit, and to revisit the Lizardman. Name dropping The Goonies also makes me happy! It’s another family favorite.

In the 2022 version of this series, Spooky Dookie was last seen during the Ghost Taunting gag. The reader was left with the implication that he was finally insulted enough to leave. Hopefully the updated version is better!
