ComicsOnline boldly returned to SDCC 2023 for more exclusive interviews!

Thanks to our friends at IDW Publishing, we had the opportunity to spend some time with the Star Trek writing team of Collin Kelly & Jackson Lanzing, and Group Editor Heather Antos. The trio shared their thoughts on crafting Star Trek: Day of Blood (the first-ever Star Trek crossover comic event), a bit of Trek history, and provided some insight into their overall creative process.

Special thanks to IDW Publishing for arranging this interview. Make sure you check out our other interviews with Collin Kelly & Jackson Lanzing at the links below.

Every year, our coverage of San Diego Comic-Con features a dazzling array of geek pop culture delights from the established classics to the latest new and different. Due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, this year was arguably the most different in recent memory. While Hollywood largely walked the picket lines in Los Angeles, ComicsOnline took the opportunity to return to our roots and concentrate on bringing you all the best in comic book news along with some select coverage of movies, television, games, collectables, events, and everything geek pop culture!

(Managing Editor/Director of Media Relations) Matt interviewed MacGyver once (true story), and was invited on a submarine to the Arctic. It hasn't happened yet, but Matt hopes that some day he will get the call and he and Richard Dean Anderson will go off and have a wacky adventure.
