Welcome back to ComicsOnline’s continuing coverage of San Diego Comic-Con 2023!

Thanks to our friends at BOOM! Studios, we had the opportunity to spend some morphinomenal time with writers Melissa Flores & Meghan Camarena (a.k.a. Strawburry17). The duo spoke about crafting the return of the Power Rangers Hyperforce team for the special Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce one-shot, as well as the importance of these characters to both them and the fans. Flores also shared some insight into the creative process for her run on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and the lead-up to the “Darkest Hour” event.

Every year our coverage of Comic-Con is our annual dazzling array of geek pop culture delights from the established classics to the latest new and different, and due to the writers’ and actors’ strikes, this year was arguably the most different in recent memory. While Hollywood largely walked the picket lines in Los Angeles, ComicsOnline took the opportunity to return to our roots and concentrate on bringing you all the best in comic book news along with some select coverage of movies, television, games, collectables, events, and everything geek pop culture!

(Managing Editor/Director of Media Relations) Matt interviewed MacGyver once (true story), and was invited on a submarine to the Arctic. It hasn't happened yet, but Matt hopes that some day he will get the call and he and Richard Dean Anderson will go off and have a wacky adventure.
