“I remember Summer. It’s full of energy, blazing with potential. It’s when you first become aware that…”
No matter what season of life you are living, The Seasons Have Teeth will clamp down and not let go of your deepest fears.
Previously in The Seasons Have Teeth:
Andrew, a retired conflict photographer, lives a life steeped in regret, pain, and sorrow. With nothing left to lose, he risks his life to get in close enough to get a photo of the living personification of Spring.
Official Description:
Summer, the most chaotic and destructive of all seasons, creates a flood of refugees and international tensions, with Andrew as the newly-acclaimed photographer there to document the onslaught. But it’s not just the monstrous season that brings chaos, as human prejudice and hatred heats up, bringing up painful memories of Andrew’s past conflict photography. With his dreams and finite life waning, Andrew is determined to capture the perfect shot… even if there’s a risk of it being his last.
Spring brings the horror of pollen; Summer brings the heat. Along with some other journalists, Andrew flies out to cover the Summer refugee crisis, only to once again come face to face with the season personified. Can Andrew take the heat? The Seasons Have Teeth #2 reminds us of the risks we take in the summer of our lives. We might not all get embedded in war zones, but the risk is still there.

This series continues to be horrifying in simple real world human ways by telling a story set in a fantasy world where huge season monsters kill and destroy. The Seasons Have Teeth is perfectly horrifying and I simultaneously fear the end and can’t wait for the next two issues, like life.
