Today Paramount announced what fans have long been awaiting! Star Trek Voyager: Dark Abyss a full length motion picture!

With this very exciting announcement it was revealed that Jonathan Frakes would be directing, and Rick Berman would be producing. The screenplay written by Brannon Braga and Jeri Taylor is set to take place years after Voyager’s return to Earth. Admiral Janeway pulls Voyager out of storage in order to engage the Hirogen threat that has invaded the Alpha Quadrant. Reprising their original roles many of the original actors have signed on.

Who are we kidding? No as much as we wish it were true it’s not…. APRIL FOOLS!!!
