Just as the people of Australia thought it was safe to once again leave the security of their homes, Supanova Pop Culture Expo springs out of nowhere with a slew of exciting announcements for the upcoming Sydney and Perth events. Check out the press release below:
Supanova’s Winter Tour Brings
Galactic Adventurers to Sydney and Perth!
Winter is coming… and it brings to Supanova not only a Game of Thrones star, but some intergalactic guests, too! Supanova’s June tour just got a whole lot shinier, with the addition of Game of Thrones‘ King Slayer, ‘Jaime Lannister’ (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Battlestar Galactica’s, ‘Apollo’, (Jamie Bamber) and Adventure Time’s ‘Marceline the Vampire Queen’, (Olivia Olson)! These celebrity guests and many more will light up the Supanova expos in Sydney (June 13-15) and Perth (June 21 & 22).
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is notorious as ‘Jaime Lannister’ in HBO’s Game of Thrones (GoT). A native of Denmark, Nikolaj broke into screen acting when he scored the lead role in a Danish thriller, Nightwatch. He went on to appear in blockbusters Enigma, Black Hawk Down and Kingdom of Heaven before being cast in GoT, the TV series based on George R. R. Martin’s best-selling books series. Nikolaj recently appeared in the films Oblivion and The Other Woman and is currently filming Gods of Egypt, a story about a human thief who helps one god seek revenge on another. Nikolaj will star as ‘Horus’ (God of the Sky). The film is set for release in 2016 and is directed by Australia’s own Alex Proyas.
Jamie Bamber is best known to sci-fi fans as ‘Lee “Apollo” Adama’ in Battlestar Galactica and is also popular as ‘DS Matt Devlin’ in Law and Order: UK. This dashing British actor starred in David E. Kelly’s series Monday Mornings as ‘Dr. Tyler Wilson’ in 2013, and recently starred as firefighter ‘Kev Allison’ in the UK drama series The Smoke.
Olivia Olson is the talented young actress behind the mischievous animated character ‘Marceline the Vampire Queen’ in the madcap Cartoon Network series, Adventure Time. She also brings to life ‘Vanessa Doofenshmirtz’ in Disney’s animated series Phineas and Ferb. Hailing from California, Olivia shot to fame as a child actress playing ‘Joanna Anderson’ in the English feelgood hit Love, Actually, with her adorable rendition of “All I want for Christmas”. She went on to release her debut EP, “Beauty is Chaos”.
All three celebrities look forward to meeting their fans, signing autographs, and posing for studio portraits. There will be Q&A panels in both Sydney and Perth where fans have the opportunity to ask direct questions of the Supanova Supa-Stars.
