Convention News: 100+ Retailers in Attendance for this Year’s Baltimore Comic-Con!

I can’t wait to go. Should be pretty wild. If you’ve never gone, it’s one of the best non media, straight up comics convention that you can rock. Lots of great creators go, as this list will attest……..

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – August 27, 2012 – In addition to the great line-up of guests for this year’s Baltimore Comic-Con, we are very pleased to have more than 100 retailers also attending the show, which will be taking place the weekend of September 8-9, 2012.

I'll See You In Baltimore 2012 Looking for those few missing back issues to round out a collection? Trying to track down that hard-to-find collectible? Well, look no further! From the Golden Age to the Modern Age, and everything in between, fans can find what they are looking for in the dealer section of the show floor. Vintage comics, apparel, toys, trade paperbacks, and hardcover collections are just a few of the types of items that are available from a great selection of retailers and exhibitors.
With more than 100 retailers setting up on the show floor, many of which specialize in Golden, Silver, and Bronze Age comics, the Baltimore Comic-Con always has more classic books than any other show in the country. From Golden and Silver Age Keys to those more obscure classics, collectors are sure to find something they’re looking for!
“Each year at our show, we really strive to offer something for every type of collector – whether it be Golden and Silver Age comics, manga, original art, or merchandise,” said Marc Nathan, show promoter of the Baltimore Comic-Con. “The retailers that attend the show are the ones who make that possible.”

This year’s Baltimore Comic-Con will be held September 8-9, 2012. Convention hours are Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. The ceremony and banquet for the Harvey Awards will be held Saturday night, September 8th and the Fourth Annual Costume Contest will be held on Sunday, September 9th.
