ComicsOnline Podcast S12E15 – DragonCon Preview

This Episode, ComicsOnline’s Bill Watters interviews DragonCon’s Director of Media Relations: Dan Carroll.

Atlanta plays host this week to Dragon*Con, America’s largest costumed convention. With over 50,000 attendees anticipated (and that’s with a hurricane in the area as well), the Labor Day weekend will see the downtown area turned into a party of mythic proportions.

Showcasing over 100 featured guests ranging from movie and television stars, to comic artists, authors, inventors, puppeteers, and more. There are also enough music performances to make any dedicated music festival envious.

We had the great fortune to catch up with Dan Carroll, Dragon*Con’s media relations director. Far more than just a department head, Dan is a true fan and just as much a part of Dragon*Con’s core audience as anyone else running around the event.

Check out the podcast to see what’s to see and do if you’re attending, and if you’re not going to be there, check out what you’re missing (so you can make plans to go next year).
