BURBANK/CA – July 9, 2012 – The Warner Archive Collection blasts into Comic-Con International in San Diego with a panel spotlighting the popular live-action television series Shazam! on Friday, July 13 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in Room 25ABC.
Panelists will include the Shazam! series’ own “Billy Batson,” Michael Gray; DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns; and the ever-informed, fancentric Warner Archives Collection Podcast hosts George Feltenstein (Senior Vice President, Warner Bros. Digital Distribution), Matthew Patterson and DW Ferranti.
The panelists will give fans an advance look at the upcoming DVD release of the popular 1970s series Shazam!, as well as provide a giveaway of a limited edition Shazam! poster by celebrated comic artist Jerry Ordway, along with other goodies. A number of lucky fans in attendance will also get their hands on an exclusive, limited edition Shazam! Lego figure.
WAC panelists will also offer sneak peeks of Gene Roddenberry’s “other” TV series, The Lieutenant, and reveal some highlights of WAC’s wildly entertaining upcoming slate of releases.
