ComicsOnline Podcast S12E11 – Colin Ferguson

SPOILER ALERT!  You’re listening to the ComicsOnline Podcast. SeasonTwelve. EpisodeEleven Colin Ferguson. Recorded in April of 2012.

Hello again and welcome to the ComicsOnline Podcast, Season Twelve Episode Eleven.

…I’m your host Kevin Gaussoin, but instead of our usual group of podcasters, we’ve got something a bit different in store for you. As you may recall from listening to our San Diego Comic-Con recap podcasts from last year, Matt Sernaker and I had the privilege of attending the VIP party at Nerd HQ on the Friday night of con and completely lucked out by getting to spend about an hour and a half with one of the nicest guys we’ve ever met. That night was Colin Ferguson’s 39th birthday and we enjoyed the honor of spending a significant portion of it with him.

SyFy shortly thereafter cancelled Eureka, so it was a particular honor for Colin to grant us not just a standard text email interview about the then-upcoming season premiere, but instead gave us the following audio file.

Ladies and gentlemen, nerds and geeks of all ages and species, We will return to our regular podcast style in a few episodes, but today we humbly present…

Eureka’s Sheriff Jack Carter himself: Colin Ferguson.

If you would have thought otherwise without hearing this disclaimer, maybe you’re not ready for this whole internet thing, much less a town called Eureka. Or maybe you’re instead one of our smart and sexy fans who appreciate foul language, boson cloud exciters, biting sarcasm and everything geek pop culture, even when it’s delivered by a robotic voice like mine.

If you have comments, questions or suggestions for the ComicsOnline Podcasters, we invite you to post on our Facebook page, tweet us on Twitter, or email us at [email protected].

Jack Carter, friend to robots, we will miss you. Thanks for all the laughs.

Kevin has run ComicsOnline since 2000 so everything you like about it is due to his excellent staff and everything you don't like is all his fault. He hopes you'll comment and share the crap out of it either way. Also he sends you virtual hugs.
