Cause of My Teacher is a compilation of six short stories that are all in the Yaoi genre. If you are not familiar with Yaoi, it is the art of telling stories that center on the romantic relationships among men and boys. These six short stories are all about Yaoi and are not bashful in glorifying the relationships between the characters. 

Highlights

These stories deal with only a short span of time and all have only two characters involved during the entire arc. The most humorous one was the first and title story, "Cause of My Teacher." The entire premise is based on a young man who is infatuated with his teacher/lover and also appears to have an eye glasses fetish. He is perplexed as to why his teacher takes his glasses off when they kiss. He then sees what he thinks is his teacher kissing a girl. This causes more jealousy and  frustration. The final outcome is a romantic encounter were the teacher confesses his love for the young man. 

The remainder of the stories take you through a series of different places and times, but the crux of the position is still the same. Two young men struggle with their relationships and end up finding that they are meant for each other, with a sexual encounter to round things off. The Manga does provide postscripts for two of the stories, but the postscripts only manage to add additional trist information and not much to the story.

Overall

I will be honest here, I am not a real fan of Yaoi, but I thought this would be a way to familiarize myself with the genre. I found it to be what I expected, but I would have enjoyed additional plot and character development. The artwork was average and I did find some of the cells to be overly graphic. It would have been better to relay the information through the expressions on the characters faces rather than the act itself. I did find some of the basic plots to be humorous and almost so cliché that I was finding the experience somewhat rewarding.

It should be known that this Manga is rated M, for mature, and it does clearly deserve the rating. For those true Yaoi fans, I could see this as being a worthy addition to your collections.
