DVD Review: Spectacular Spider-Man The Complete First Season

The Complete First Season of the Spectacular Spider-Man is now available on DVD in one amazing set!

Now you can enjoy all 13 episodes of the hit animated series any time you want. Season 2 has just started airing here in the United States, so you might want to use this as a refresher before diving into the new season.

One of the most consistent shows on television, the Spectacular Spider-Man sets the bar high for all the competition. Armed with an extremely talented cast and crew, the show has proven itself to be one of the best written, most entertaining, and overall faithful adaptations of the Spider-Man mythos.

Now you might be wondering, "what is different about this set from the individual releases?" Well I will tell you.

This new 2-disc boxset now contains ALL 13 of the First Season Episodes (with awesome new DVD Covers), but also contains two new Behind-The-Scenes Featurettes:

Stylizing Spidey– This featurette talks about the process of animating Spidey and bringing his world to life.

Spider-Man: Re-Animated– This featurette goes into depth about the casting process and features great interviews with Josh Keaton, Vanessa Marshall, Robert Englund and more!

If you are a fan of this show you will not want to miss out on watching these new featurettes. They provide a nice insight into the process of making the show and a nice look at the cast.

The Complete First Season of the Spectacular Spider-Man is a must have for your DVD collection. If you missed out on any of these episodes this is a perfect way to catch up.

ComicsOnline gives The Spectacular Spider-Man- The Complete First Season 5 out of 5 can't miss Spidey Adventures.
