Entertainment Weekly/SyFy Party Photos
I was invited to take part in the exclusive red carpet at Hotel Solamar for Entertainment Weekly's joint party with SyFy. It was quite the event with tons of celebrities wandering by flashing cameras and warmly chatting with myself and a few other online reporters who waved for their attention. I am working on getting the audio together because it was quite loud out there, but I do have some pictures of the celebs that I got to chat with so I thought I'd put them up for you lucky readers!
First up some Battlestar Galactica people! Edward James Olmos stopped by to talk.
Grace Park looked beautiful and was more than happy to chat next to her former co-star….
Tahmoh Penikett, who was also there to chat about Dollhouse.
James Callis stopped by, a rather soft spoken man.
Amanda Tapping was very excited to chat about Sanctuary which will be coming into its second season.
Joss Whedon was there to talk about Dollhouse and a possibility for more Dr. Horrible in the future. He also ran into an old friend of his….
Adam Baldwin, who was there for Chuck! The two seemed delighted to run into one another and shared a big hug.
My personal favorite was Michelle Forbes from True Blood, because she was certainly the most friendly of the group. She told us all about working on True Blood and also on a project she thinks everyone should know about, Durham County. Look it up!
Her costar Sam Trammell also came to talk about what is ahead for his poor, abused character and whether or not there will be a final battle with Maryann.
Masi Oka seemed only interested in a few interviews, meeting his fans for some signatures, and going straight in to the party. I bet he had quite a great time!
A little surprise was the inclusion of the Weeds star Hunter Parrish, who was enthusiastic about the new season and talking about more Broadway projects after being a success in Spring Awakening.
That's it for now from the party, but hopefully there will be more forthcoming! It was quite an experience, one I will certainly remember for years to come, and believe it or not … they are all as nice as they seem!
