DVD Review: Heroic Age, The Complete Series Part 2

 “We must save our savour.”

In the beginning, the Gold Tribe called out to the universe, they wanted other life to venture out in to space. Three Tribes answered the call, the Sliver Tribe, the Bronze Tribe, and the Heroic Tribe, with a fourth Tribe finally answering. Humanity is also known as the Iron Tribe and became the fourth Tribe. Then the Gold Tribe left the universe, there is a power struggle between the rest of the Tribes, with Silver being the most powerful and Iron being their biggest rival. The only thing the Iron Tribe has that can destroy the Sliver Tribe is a boy named Age who is a Nodos. Nodos are creatures who have the awesome power of the Heroic Tribe, witch lets them turn in to giant robot looking things. Even though the Iron Tribe has a Nodos, the Sliver Tribe has four. Not every one wants a war, Princess Dhianeila and the crew of her ship are going to do every thing in their power to stop this war and have peace beween tribes.

Highlights

There is a total of five Nodos, each one represent a different thing. Age and his Nodos represent existence , the other four represent life, light, time and nothingness. each Nodos also has a power to match what they represent, Age can’t be destroyed in any universe, Life can regenerate, Light can shoot rays of energy, Time can jump back in time to attack her opponents and Nothingness can make black holes. Each Nodos is bound to a Tribe with labors that where set by the Golden Tribe, Age by far has the most with twelve to complete.

There is only one way for Princess Dhianeila and the rest of the Iron Tribe to make peace with the Sliver Tribe. During a temporary cease fire, Princess Dhianeila must find the power of the Golden Tribe. The power is thought to be on the mother planet of the Golden Tribe, but the were abouts of the planets is unknown, not to mention that there are still a few enemy ships that are out to try to kill them. The Gold Tribes power became evident on the journey. They left behind an electrical storm stronger than any other storm as a test, to see if the seeker, or seekers, was worthy of finding them. The planet of the Gold Tribe has two layers of shielding that will protect the planet if it is attacked. These are only some of the powers of the Gold Tribe that are showed to the Iron Tribe.

Overview
Part two of Heroic Age isn’t as light hearted as the frist part, every thing is much more serious because it’s usually is a life or death situation. Another reason it was a lot more serous is because Age was the only comic relief, he was in a battle most of the time so he couldn’t really be funny and the all action can be a bit overwhelming at times. Even with most of the the time being battles and fight scenes the story line is still deep, and the fight scenes are still excellent because even though the Nodos looked like robots, they where more powerful than any robot I’ve ever seen. The Nodos are actually very peaceful, but they still have to fight, its one of the few sad things in Heroic Age. The Silver Tribe are quite harsh, they don’t believe in emotions and when they do they don’t know what to do about it. The becomes more Silver Tribe is more light hearted once they make peace with the Iron Tribe, which is nice because they’re actually cooler when they’re nice. This would make a great addition for any anime collection.
