Blu-ray Review: Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics

There must always be a balance in the universe. Wherever there is evil, there will always be good. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and DC Entertainment put this premise to the test with the release of their new documentary: Necessary Evil: Super-Villains of DC Comics.

Blu-ray Review: Robot Chicken DC Comics Special

Comic book fans and action figure aficionados now have plenty of reason to be excited with this brilliant collision of worlds, when the twisted and deranged humour of Robot Chicken takes control of the iconic super heroes and villains from the DC Comics universe in Robot Chicken DC Comics Special.

Blu-ray Review: Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

The DC Universe is known for hosting some of the most iconic characters in comics. Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, the Canterbury Cricket… the list goes on. Fans of DC and Warner Brothers’ animated series have seen the Justice League work together to fight impossible odds time after time,  always moving past their personal differences in order to save the day. Now, in Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox, it’s time to see them in a slightly different light: emotionally scarred and desperately trying to kill each other.

Movie Review: Man of Steel

Man of Steel is a re-imagining. Those who have a hard time with new takes on classic characters in stories that have already been told may have a hard time with Man of Steel. Those who found Star Trek: Into Darkness offensive because they felt too precious about Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan or those who flipped tables over the fact that The Amazing Spider-Man failed to include “With great power comes great responsibility” may find that Man of Steel is similarly irreverent about previous canon. This is not your father’s Last Son of Krypton. It’s not your grandfather’s either.

Blu-ray Review: LEGO: Batman The Movie – DC Super Heroes Unite

Wow. That’s all I can say after seeing this work of pure GENIUS. The great minds behind Warner Premier who have brought us the entire line of DC Animated movies that have come out over the past 5 years have teamed up with LEGO for possibly their greatest and newest direct to home video release: LEGO Batman: The Movie – DC Superheroes Unite, now available to own on Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand, and for Digital Download. It is the funniest thing I have ever seen involving the massive cast of DC Comics characters done to date and because of which, it shines brightly by bringing all of these characters together into a storm of self aware humor that hasn’t been seen in a official production before.

PS3 Game Review: Injustice – Gods Among Us

I tend to suck a lot of noodle when it comes to fighters. So when I say that Injustice: Gods Among Us is a ridiculously awesome and entertaining fighting game, you had better believe that there is something very special about it.
