This older teen shojo series tells the story of Tominaga Sei, a young woman who has been dressing as a boy in order to belong to the Bushi warriors. She entered to avenge the death of her father and brother. She continues to stay so she can fight alongside Okita Soji, where she feels she belongs. They have become very close and important to each other. Soji knows her secret identity, but his longstanding decision never to marry or involve himself with women ( In his words, “I am Bushi. I have something more important than a woman or love.” ) keeps him from seeing Sei’s true heart.
Manga Review: Crown of Love Volume 1
Crown of Love is a new shojo manga from Viz. The author/illustrator is Yun Kouga who is also known for Loveless. Our protagonist is Hisayoshi Tajima, a 16 year-old boy who attends Hakuo High School, well known for its great music and drama programs. He’s very popular with the girls, being nice to all of them. They call him “Kumi”. The story takes off when he helps a girl avoid a bit of trouble. Not knowing who she is, he can’t stop thinking about her.

Manga Review: Vampire Hunter D, Volume 4
D is on his way to the next job, when he comes across the scene of a family massacre. The Knight family seems to have been brutally attacked by some dragons. Only the daughter, Lori, survives, but she has severe radiation poisoning. One of the few remaining Mobil Towns was scheduled to meet D at a nearby location. D helps the man who saved Lori, John M. Brasselli Pluto VIII (and nothing less), get Lori to the town's doctor. D has been hired by the mayor of the town to exterminate a Noble who somehow made it into the town. D, however, knows there is much more than that to the story.

Nora – The Last Chronicle of Devildom is about the forced compact between Nora, the Cerberus, a legendary demon also known as the vicious dog of disaster and Kazuma Magari, a demanding high school student. In order to give him some “training” in the human world, his master the Dark Liege entered him into a pact with Kazuma. Now Nora must ask for authorization when using his own magic, and Kazuma can restrain him by declaring "I forbid". This causes Nora's collar to choke the poor, troublemaking guy.
