Name:  Karissa Barrows

Age:  28

Lives in:  St. Louis, MO.  Sort of.  Close enough.  GO CARDS!

Kids:  Seth, 3 years old in May.  Cutest thing to grace the planet.  He sleeps great, and always has.

What’s on her plate:  Work full-time, single-parenting full-time, trying to get her first newly-purchased home in some sort of order, sometimes finding some time to play video games and drink Stefano Farina moscato (i.e. the best moscato on the planet).

What’s coming up:  With one SDCC/NerdHQ, Dragon*Con, and PAX East (Omegathon ftw!) under her belt, she has another SDCC and Dragon*Con coming up this summer, E3 if by some miracle she can afford it, and NYCC if – again – by some miracle, she can afford it.  She’s also working on the Mass Effect Cast Cosplay Initiative as its creator and general overseer/madam president/project manager person, which is occurring next year at PAX East (check out the Facebook page and follow the Initiative on Twitter)!

What she does here:  Nothing at the moment, aside from the occasional sarcastic remark on a mass email (for the friggin’ win, y’all).  In the meantime, you can follow her @SJBsMama.
