Hello again and welcome to the ComicsOnline Podcast, Season Twelve Episode Nine.
…I’m your host Kevin Gaussoin, but instead of our usual group of podcasters, we’ve got something a bit different in store for you. As you may know, this past year ComicsOnline went global. We know not all of you live in San Diego or San Francisco, or New York, or any of the other cities whose conventions we’ve covered over the years. Last year at Comic-Con 2011 we met Aussie Dave at our annual Comic-Concert and drafted him into being our first staff member in Australia. Today ComicsOnline has grown to four staffers in down under and reports from three continents: North America, Australia, and Asia. As a side note, in case it needs to be said, we’re all fans first, so you know we’re in this to collect them all. You’re next!
So in April, Aussie Dave Lobato and Jayden Leggett covered their first convention for ComicsOnline: The Supanova Comics Expo in Melbourne Victoria Australia. They came back with a lot of coverage, and so we thought you might like to hear a panel or two from that show. Who better to focus on but the beautiful and talented companion from the Firefly class starship Serenity or the Alien Visitor leader from V.
