Here are some of the highlights from the DC Universe panel at WonderCon 2011:

-Everything you think you know about the Whitle Lantern… yeah… not right. PLOT TWIST!

-You will see Barry and Bruce’s relationship change a lot in Flashpoint.  After all, shouldn’t the World’s Greatest Detective hang out with a forensic scientist?

–Flashpoint will be for Barry what Blackest Night was for Hal.  Also, there’s a motorcycle powered by the speed force!

-Booster Gold and Blue Beetle will be in the upcoming episode of Smallville, which was written by Geoff Johns.

-First chance to see Flashpoint will be in the pages of the Green Lantern Free Comic Book Day special edition

-Green Arrow having a big self-realization in near future, dealing with his demons.

-Return of Jason Todd is coming up in a three issue arc in Batman and Robin

-Boomerang is integral in the final pages of Brightest Day

-The most important aspect of comic book heroes to emphasize to young readers is a sense that being a hero just means standing up for yourself, and looking out for other people.  For example, all the bullying stuff going on lately, a hero is a person who would stand up and get involved and work to improve the situation.  Don’t give up.
