CC2010: Family Guy and The Cleveland Show panel

Family Guy and The Cleveland Show made their annual appearance at the Ballroom 20 stage.  They sang and danced. They also discuss many highlights and previewed upcoming footage of this season. Highlights and spoilers below!



Family Guy:

  • The one hour season premiere, on September 26th, is a mystery episode with a whodunit plot
  • The last of the franchise Star Wars movie will go straight to DVD and Blu-ray. And it will hit shelves right on time for Christmas on December 21st
  • They showed 9 minutes of footage
  • Klaus (American Dad) makes a cameo in the movie
  • Seth MacFarlane thank Lucas for their help
  • They have no plans on doing the prequels
  • There is a one hour Christmas special episode
  • Stewie tries to kill Santa Claus
  • There are three new musical numbers
  • Lois made a porno and it comes back to haunt her
  • Lois’s sister marries Mayor West, making Peter his brother-in-law
  • They will take a break from making any franchise movies for a while, however the name of Indiana Jones was thrown out by Seth
  • Meg gets her revenge on the family
  • At some point Cleveland (The Cleveland Show) and Stan Smith (American Dad) will make an appearance in an episode with Peter

The Cleveland Show:

  • The season premiere will be on September 26th
  • Peter, Quagmire, Joe and Herbert “the perv” from Family Guy make an appearance
  • They will have a Comic-Con episode which they read
  • It’s about Cleveland trying to sell his high school comic book.
  • The name of the comic book is Waiter Man
  •  Robert Rodriguez (Desperado) tries to make it into a movie in order to coerce Donna into helping him
  • Some guest stars include Will.I.Am and T. Pain
  • They have an episode where President Obama comes to play basketball against Cleveland
