Anime Blu-ray Review: Halo Legends

That, along with the inclusion of some awesome special features makes this a great addition to any Halo fan’s collection.

Manga Review: Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee), Volume 2

A man-made star illuminates only part of the world of Amberground.  Split into three different caste systems, only Letter Bees (and a few other government agencies) can pass between the sections.  Akatsuki is in the center, and is illuminated completely by the star/sun; it is also strictly regulated by the government as to who can enter.  Then there's Yuusari, where it is mostly twilight, and where the middle class lives.  The lowest class lives in the complete night time of Yodaka, where the dangerous creatures, Gaichuu, are found in great numbers.

Anime Blu-ray Review: Claymore, The Complete Series

The Girls are back –  no, I don't mean Charlies Angels, although some of us older guys might like that. I am speaking of those deadly women/demons with those awesome swords, the Claymores, but this time they are coming at you in the High Definition of Blu-ray.

Manga Review: Bokurano Ours Volume 1

The story opens up as a group of junior high kids are "observing nature" on the beach during their summer program.  Coming across a cave that they find irresistible, they discover an incredible computer set-up and they meet a mysterious man who hesitantly talks to them about his game…

Anime Blu-ray Review: Heroic Age, The Complete Series

The Ancients, I mean the Asgards, no wait – it was the Golden Tribe. You know who I mean –  the ones that knew everything and bestowed much of their knowledge upon the Silver Tribe, that funny race of beings much like the Vulcans who have no emotions, but do seek power and utter domination over the Universe? But because the Golden Tribe didn't want everything to go to the Silver Tribe, they gave the most powerful gift to that pesky Iron Tribe, the humans. Why would the Golden Tribe bestow this one great power on such a petty race of weak-minded beings?

DVD Review: Pokemon Elements Volume 8: Dragon

Manga Review: One Piece: East Blue 7-8-9

One Piece
stars Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate. It's an era of piracy, and the greatest treasure of all is the fabled One Piece. The world is full of pirates, searching for plunder and adventure, and Luffy is determined to gather a fantastic crew and become the King of the Pirates! His crew so far, Zolo the swordsman and Nami the navigator,  both have their own goals and dreams to shoot for. The series is comical, cartoony and fast-paced, filled with wild battles and over the top character designs. Passion, pride, searching out your dreams and treasure, both gold and the things people hold dear, are themes in this whimsical, creative series.
