Kevin Smith and View Askew hadn’t left the nest of the “View Askewniverse” since Jersey Girl, so what were we to think when he cast yet another hot young actor in his latest departure from his comfort zone? Well firstly, that’s a damn funny title. Second, it’s got an alluring ensemble cast taking some of the best of Silent Bob’s Jersey cohorts and pairing them with an awesome sampling of geek pop culture and other hip actors.

Fluffers:
Seth Rogen (The 40 Year Old Virgin, Knocked Up) stars as Zack Brown alongside Elizabeth Banks (Spider-Man I-III, The 40 Year Old Virgin) Miriam Linky. Friends and roommates since high school, the platonic pair attend their 10-year reunion at their high school that’s close enough to walk to. There, Zack runs into Brandon St. Randy (Justin Long – Die Hard 4, Accepted, “I’m a Mac…”), a gay porn star who reveals that he didn’t go to school there, he’s the boyfriend of alpha jock Bobby Long (Brandon Routh – Superman Returns, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World) that Miri’s trying to seduce across the gym floor. Miri is crushed that her plans are all for naught, but when they return home to find their utilities shut off due to unpaid bills, Zack is inspired to make amateur porn of their own to get our of their financial crisis. They draft coffee shop coworker Delaney (Craig Robinson – The Office, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian) and get to work gathering additional cast and crew including director of photography Deacon (Jeff Anderson – Clerks, Clerks II), Lester the Molester Cockenschtuff (Jason Mewes – all the View Askewniverse films from Clerks to Clerks II), stripper Stacey (Katie Morgan – Whore of the Rings II, Sex Trek: Where No Man Has Cum B4, Fleshdance, The Erotic Ghost Whisperer), stag party entertainer “Bubbles” (Traci Lords – Swedish Erotica 57, Profiler, Blade), and aspiring young thespian Barry (Ricky Mabe – Trailer Park of Terror).

Together they plan to make an x-rated take-off on Star Wars episode IV: A New Hope, and while we get to see the awesome sets and costumes they create for this skin satire, they get a few wrenches thrown in and have to deal with those, but the real question is, can lifelong friends Zack and Miri film a sex scene together without forming an emotional connection?

You want to own this in Blu-ray not only to see and hear Katie Morgan and Jason Mewes do the nasty on the counter in 1080p and Dolby Digital True-HD 5.1 audio, but you also want the world’s clearest and highest definition audio and video when you’re up close and personal with the fully clothed heartfelt moments between Zack and Miri.
